If your instrument or bow requires it, we will need to make a closer inspection (this can include archive research, consultancy, CT scans or dendrochronology in order to establish an attribution and value). If this is the case, we shall discuss further steps together.
If you decide to auction your instrument or bow, then a consignment form must be cfilled in. The consignment form is a written record of the agreed estimates, the reserve, the duration of the auction, other options and our fees. Than you must make a payment in advance for the HD pictures. If the Lot is sold, your payment for the pictures will be refunded.
You can insure your instrument or bow (optional) for the time we have it. Please note that your instrument or bow may be covered by your musical instrument insurance in which case you will not need this option.
If you wish to consign to an auction, we can also accept instruments by Swiss Post, FedEx or other shipping companies. In this case, we will send you a special shipping box designed on purpose for the safe and cost-effective shipment of instruments.
